Using TrueClean
These terms apply to this website and the development version of the TrueClean iPhone app, published by TrueClean. Questions can be sent to support@truecleanapp.com.
TrueClean helps you review and organize permitted photos, chosen Files folders, contacts and optional Gmail content. It is currently in development. Public App Store availability has not been announced, and Gmail access is currently limited to authorized testers while public verification is prepared.
Your access and choices
Use TrueClean only with accounts and content you are authorized to access. You choose which permissions and tools to use. You can change Photos and Contacts permissions in iOS Settings, forget saved folders, disconnect Google locally or revoke its authorization.
Granting a permission is separate from authorizing a cleanup action. Scanning, previewing and selecting do not themselves delete content. Review the account, destination and exact selection before confirming an action.
Review before an action
Suggestions, duplicate candidates and size estimates are information for your review. They can be incomplete or wrong and do not establish that an item is unwanted. TrueClean does not promise a particular amount of storage saved, universal file-preview support or access to all content on an iPhone.
Photo, contact and file deletions can affect synced devices. File-provider deletion may be permanent. Contact deletion requires a backup of the exact selection; restoration is manual and not guaranteed. Stop prevents later work after the current operation finishes and cannot reverse work already completed.
Moving selected Gmail messages to Trash requires separate Google permission and your final confirmation. TrueClean does not permanently delete mail or empty Trash. Recovery and retention remain subject to Gmail’s rules.
An accepted unsubscribe request does not guarantee that a sender has removed you from a list, and it does not delete old mail. A lost response can leave the outcome uncertain. Manual website links and email drafts are handled by your browser or mail app; you send a draft yourself.
Exports and other services
Check exported copies and their destination before deleting originals. An app collection, Photos album, accepted copy or local size check is not proof that a remote cloud backup has completed.
Apple, Google, chosen Files and mail providers, newsletter destinations, hosting and support email services operate under their own applicable terms. Their availability, account restrictions, retention and recovery controls can affect features that use them.
Purchases and availability
If Pro is available in your build, Apple displays its price, processes payment and manages the purchase. The current app implements a one-time non-consumable product rather than an automatically renewing subscription. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used to buy it.
A development build is not a promise of a publicly available App Store product. Features and availability may change as the app is developed.
