Library information, previews and review actions.

• Choose All Photos or Selected Photos through iOS. With selected access, only your shared items are available.
• Some previews or originals can load from iCloud when a feature needs them. Smart suggestions analyze previews on the device.
• Review the queue and Apple’s deletion confirmation before removing media. Deletions can sync through iCloud.

The folders you explicitly add, including accessible subfolders.

• Add locations in More → Files & folders. Saved access lets later scans include those folders without choosing them again every time.
• Forget removes a scan bookmark and current review items, not the files. Export destinations are separate settings.
• Native previews support many formats. Explicit previews can retrieve cloud content. The app cannot browse other apps’ private files or caches.

Entries and lists you allow through Contacts access.

• Scan names, organization names, phone numbers and email addresses to review entries and possible duplicates.
• List creation and membership changes depend on your account’s support. Contact changes may sync to other devices.
• Bulk deletion requires a local vCard backup for the exact selection, then a separate confirmation. Restore is manual and not guaranteed.

Optional Google sign-in for mail review and subscriptions.

• Initial access requests gmail.readonly, plus basic account identity, so the app can search mail and show review details.
• A supported automatic-unsubscribe check temporarily reads a complete selected email, up to 8 MiB, to verify its signed instructions on the iPhone.
• You can disconnect locally or revoke Google access. Clear local unsubscribe history separately if you want to remove those receipts.

Optional additional permission, requested separately.

• Enable moving to Trash asks for gmail.modify. Google’s scope is broader and can permit reading, composing and sending; TrueClean implements the reviewed move-to-Trash feature.
• Granting access changes nothing. Select up to 50 loaded emails in a category session, review the account and exact selection, then confirm.
• TrueClean does not permanently delete email or empty Trash. Google’s recovery and retention rules apply.

A separate confirmed request to a newsletter sender.

• Supported automatic checks show the signing domain and request destination before you confirm, individually or in a batch.
• The destination receives a request and may receive a recipient-specific URL, network address and timing. It does not receive a Google token or the email content from this request.
• Unsupported senders can offer a manual website link or prefilled email draft. You still send a draft yourself.
